So I started taking these Apple Cider Vinegar gummies like 3 weeks ago because I heard they help with sleep (I do 16:8 IF and sometimes struggle to fall asleep after my eating window). Anyway, sleep is still meh, but OMG my skin has never looked better. Like, clearer, less redness, even my husband noticed. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it the ACV? I'm so confused but also not mad lol

Interesting! I did a quick lit search and there's some evidence that ACV can help with blood sugar regulation, which in turn might reduce inflammation and improve skin. But gummies often have other ingredients too – check the label. Sometimes they add biotin or vitamins that could be the real MVP. What brand are you using? Also, the sleep thing might take longer, or it could be the placebo effect. Keep us posted!

Yo, listen up. I've been biohacking my sleep for years and ACV gummies are a mixed bag. The vinegar can help with glucose disposal, which is great for IF folks like you, but the gummy form often has sugar or maltodextrin that can spike insulin. That might mess with sleep if you take it close to bedtime. But the skin benefits? Could be the acetic acid reducing systemic inflammation. Or it could be that you're just absorbing more nutrients because your gut is happier. Try taking it earlier in the day and see if sleep improves. Also, check if it has 'the mother' – that's the good stuff. Keep experimenting!

Just to add – I found a small study (2018, Journal of Functional Foods) that showed ACV improved skin elasticity in mice. Not human trials yet, but promising. Also, some people report better skin from improved liver function. But again, gummies are notorious for low ACV content. You might be better off with liquid ACV, but the taste is rough. Maybe try capsules? Anyway, glad you're seeing results!

Thanks for the replies! I'm using Goli brand. The label says it has organic ACV, beetroot, pomegranate, and vitamin B12. Maybe it's the B12? I'm not vegan so I doubt I'm deficient, but who knows. I'll try taking it in the morning instead of before bed and see if sleep changes. But honestly, if my skin stays this good, I might just deal with the sleep issues lol. Also, Ursula, that mice study is interesting – gonna look it up!
