THREAD: Started ACV gummies for sleep, got a surprise benefit instead!Started by OP

Hey everyone, so I've been taking apple cider vinegar gummies for about 2 weeks now, mainly hoping they'd help me sleep better (read some stuff online about ACV and blood sugar regulation helping sleep). Honestly, my sleep is still hit or miss, but I noticed my skin is WAY clearer! I used to get random breakouts on my chin and forehead, but they've pretty much vanished. Anyone else experience something totally different than what they expected?

OP, that's wild! I actually tried a few brands of ACV gummies last year, mostly curious about the taste (some are way too sweet, others have that weird tang). I didn't stick with them long enough to notice skin changes, but I did feel less bloated after meals. Maybe the ACV is balancing something internally? Also, which brand are you using? If it tastes good, I might give it another shot for the skin perk lol.

Interesting! I take ACV gummies for recovery after long runs—supposedly helps with inflammation. Haven't paid attention to my skin, but I did notice my stress levels feel lower on days I take them. Could be placebo, but my HRV data looks slightly better too. Maybe the benefits are broader than we think? What's your dosage, OP?

Fascinating anecdote, OP. ACV contains acetic acid and polyphenols, which might modulate gut microbiota and reduce systemic inflammation—potentially explaining both skin and stress effects. I've been tracking my biomarkers with ACV liquid (more potent), but gummies could offer a gentler, sustained release. Have you checked if the gummies contain added probiotics or zinc? That could synergize for skin health. Also, consider logging your pH or glucose levels if you're into data.

Thanks for the replies! @BioBob I'm using the 'Nature's Truth' brand—tastes like apple candy, not too vinegary. @MountainMike373 I take 2 gummies daily (500mg ACV each). @PurePete291 No probiotics listed, but it has zinc! Didn't even notice that. Maybe that's part of it. I'm not into deep tracking, but I'll keep an eye on stress too—had a hectic week and felt oddly calm. Might just stick with these for the skin alone!
