THREAD: Anyone else getting super vivid dreams after starting B12 gummies?Started by OP

Hey all, started taking these B12 gummies about 2 weeks ago (the cherry flavored ones from that popular brand). They've been great for energy, but I've noticed something weird - my dreams have been INSANELY vivid and detailed lately. Like, full-on movie plots I remember when I wake up. It's not bad, just... intense. Has anyone else experienced this with B12 supplements? Is it normal?

OP, 100%! I track my sleep with an Oura ring and noticed REM cycles increased when I upped my B12 dose. B12 is involved in melatonin synthesis and neurotransmitter production - it can definitely affect dream vividness. I actually experimented with taking mine in the AM vs PM and found AM reduced the intensity. Try adjusting your timing and see if it helps! #biohack

Interesting observation! There's some preliminary research suggesting B vitamins might influence sleep architecture. B12 plays a role in myelin sheath formation and nerve function, which could theoretically affect brain activity during sleep. The bright yellow urine many people report is definitely from the riboflavin (B2) in most complexes - harmless excretion of excess. Your vivid dreams are likely benign, but if they disrupt sleep quality, consider lowering the dose or switching to methylcobalamin form.

omg yes!! I teach sunrise yoga and started B12 gummies last month for energy. My dreams became so vivid I started journaling them - some feel almost spiritual? Our bodies process supplements differently, and B12 supports nervous system balance. Maybe your mind is just more active during rest! If it bothers you, try pairing with magnesium glycinate before bed to calm the nervous system. Otherwise, enjoy the free nighttime entertainment! 🌙✨
