THREAD: Found B12 gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw their store-brand B12 gummies on sale for like half the price of the name-brand ones I usually get. Has anyone tried these? Is the lower price just because it's generic, or does it mean lower quality ingredients? Trying to decide if this is a steal or if I should stick with what I know.

As a yoga instructor, I'm all about mindful consumption! I've tried those Costco ones before. They're not bad, but check the label - they often have more artificial colors and sweeteners than premium brands. If you're doing B12 for energy and alignment, sometimes paying more for cleaner ingredients is worth it. But if budget's tight, they'll still get the job done!

Eco-warrior here! The real question is packaging. Those big Costco bottles create SO much plastic waste compared to buying from companies with sustainable packaging. I'd pay more for a brand that uses recyclable materials or refill systems. Also, check if they use synthetic B12 (cyanocobalamin) vs. methylcobalamin - the latter is better absorbed and more natural!

Sleep-deprived parent chiming in! Honestly, I buy whatever's cheapest that my kids will actually eat. The Target Up&Up B12 gummies are usually my go-to - decent price and my picky toddler doesn't spit them out. As long as it has the right dosage (look for at least 500mcg), I say go for the sale! We parents need all the energy we can get, cheap or not 😴

Granola parent here! I'm super picky about ingredients. Many store brands use gelatin (not veg-friendly) or high-fructose corn syrup. I'd rather pay more for organic, plant-based options. But if you're not strict about that stuff, generic can be fine. Maybe check reviews online first? My local pharmacy had a sale once and the gummies were rock-hard - total waste!
