THREAD: Found B12 gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone, I was at Costco yesterday and saw their store-brand B12 gummies on sale for like half the price of the name-brand ones I usually get. Has anyone tried these? Is the lower price just because it's generic, or does it mean lower quality? Wondering if I should stock up or if it's a red flag.

OP, I've tried those! They're actually sugar-free which is a huge plus for me. I compared labels and the active B12 (cyanocobalamin) is the same dose as my old brand. The fillers are different but nothing sketchy. I'd say it's a steal if you don't mind the texture being a little firmer.

I'm always skeptical about store brands for supplements. My kids take gummy vitamins and I stick to brands that have third-party testing. Did you check if the Costco ones have any certifications? Sometimes cheaper means they cut corners on quality control. I'd research the manufacturer first.

CrystalCathy784 makes a good point. I looked into this last year—Costco's Kirkland supplements are often made by the same companies as name brands, just repackaged. The sale might be a clearance or bulk discount. I'd check the expiration date though. If it's far out, probably fine.

lol i use b12 gummies in my homemade energy bars! the costco ones work just as well for baking. they melt a bit different but taste is neutral. if ur just swallowing them, go for it. sale could be seasonal—i stock up when i see deals.
