THREAD: Looking for B12 gummy gift ideas - parent vs fitness friend?Started by GlowGigi352

Hey all! I need help picking out some B12 gummies as gifts. My dad is in his 70s and gets tired easily, and my friend is a total gym rat who's always talking about energy boosts. Should I get them the same thing or different products? Looking for something I can grab online quick - busy season at work!

Great question! I've researched this extensively. For aging parents, look for methylcobalamin (more bioavailable) with added folate. Brands like Nature's Way or Garden of Life have senior-focused blends. For fitness friends, cyanocobalamin is fine and often combined with other B vitamins. Check labels for sugar content - some 'health' gummies are candy in disguise. I can link some studies if you want!

We use the MaryRuth's brand for our whole family! They're vegan, organic, and low sugar. My mom (68) loves the berry flavor and says they help with her afternoon slump. For your gym friend, maybe something with added B6? My yoga instructor swears by that combo for post-workout recovery. Just watch out for artificial colors - so unnecessary!

Thanks both! Holly - maybe just the brand recs for now, my inbox is overflowing already lol. Yara - the vegan tip is good, my friend is picky about that. Anyone tried those subscription health packs? Saw an ad for B12 + D3 combo gummies that looked convenient.
