Hey everyone! I just came across this article: "The all-time best sleep products of 2026, according to editors who love good sleep". It's mostly about sleep hygiene and wellness trends for next year. They mention some beauty gummies with sleep benefits, but I'm curious what you all think? Any of these actually work? I'm always looking for ways to optimize my sleep for recovery and cognitive performance. Let's discuss!

I've been a nurse for 30 years and I've seen it all. These 'beauty gummies' are usually just melatonin and a bunch of marketing fluff. If you want real sleep help, talk to your doctor. But hey, if it works for you, go for it. Just don't expect miracles. I will say, some of my patients swear by magnesium and L-theanine. But those aren't gummies, they're capsules. Anyway, just my two cents.

I think it's all about balance. As a yoga instructor, I recommend gentle stretches and meditation before bed. But I also take a beauty gummy with collagen and melatonin. It helps me wind down and my skin looks great! But you have to be consistent. And don't rely solely on supplements. Create a bedtime ritual. Also, check the ingredients for artificial stuff. Some brands are better than others. Namaste. 🙏

Thanks for the input! XenonX206, I appreciate the medical perspective. I've tried magnesium before but didn't notice much. Maybe I need a different form? UrbanUma784, I love the idea of a bedtime ritual. I already meditate but might add some yoga. Have you found any specific brand of gummies that works for you? I'm hesitant to try just any.

If you're going to try gummies, look for ones with third-party testing. And start with a low dose. Melatonin can mess with your natural production if you take too much. Also, be aware of interactions with other meds. I've seen people get groggy the next day. Just be smart about it. And remember, sleep hygiene basics: dark, cool room, no screens before bed. That's free and effective.
