THREAD: Started Beauty Gummies for sleep, but WOW my skin is glowing??Started by OP

Hey everyone, so I've been taking these 'Beauty Gummies' for about 3 weeks now, mainly because I saw they had melatonin and I've been struggling with sleep. Honestly, my sleep is maybe a *little* better, but the weird thing is my skin has completely transformed! I used to have dry patches and some redness, but now it's so much smoother and clearer. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I didn't even buy them for skin care lol.

Fascinating! This actually makes sense from a biochemical perspective. Many beauty gummies contain collagen precursors, biotin, and antioxidants like vitamin C and E. Even if you took them for sleep (melatonin is a powerful antioxidant too!), these compounds support collagen synthesis and reduce oxidative stress in skin cells. The improved sleep might also lower cortisol, reducing inflammation. Have you checked the full ingredient list? I'd love to analyze the synergy here!

Holly nailed it - the science checks out! I've read studies showing oral collagen peptides can improve skin hydration and elasticity within 4-8 weeks. Your 3-week timeline is promising for early effects. The melatonin might be enhancing cellular repair during sleep cycles too. Have you noticed any other changes like nail strength or hair texture? Sometimes these supplements have broader systemic impacts than marketed.

Hold up guys - correlation doesn't equal causation! Could be you started drinking more water with the gummies, changed your pillowcase, stress levels dropped, or just placebo effect. These companies bank on anecdotal 'miracle stories.' What's the actual dosage of active ingredients? Most gummies are underdosed sugar candy with fancy labels. I'd get blood work before crediting some chewy supplement.

Wow thanks for all the replies! @HolisticHolly213 @KaleKen268 the ingredients do have collagen and vitamin C like you said - I just checked. @PurePete231 I haven't changed anything else really, but yeah maybe it's a fluke? Though my partner noticed my skin too without me saying anything. Might keep taking them a bit longer and see if it lasts. Appreciate the science perspectives and skepticism both!
