Hey everyone, I'm heading on a business trip next week with a flight and some road travel. I rely on my collagen & biotin beauty gummies for skin/hair, but worried about them melting in my bag or getting confiscated by TSA. Anyone have experience? Do they turn into a sticky mess in heat? And what's the deal with carrying them on planes?

Honestly, this is why I stick to pills. Gummies are basically candy with vitamins - of course they'll melt! I traveled to Arizona last summer and my kid's gummy vitamins fused into one blob in the car. Save yourself the hassle and get capsules if you're traveling. TSA doesn't care about supplements as long as they're not liquid over 3.4oz, but good luck cleaning melted gunk out of your bag.

Pro tip: Get a small insulated lunch bag with a gel pack! I use one for my tech gadgets and tried it with gummies on a hiking trip - worked perfectly. Also, TSA is fine with them in your carry-on, but keep them in original bottle if possible. I even use a bluetooth temperature tracker in my supplement case now (overkill maybe, but data is cool!).
