Hey everyone, just saw this article and thought it was super relevant to our gummy vitamin discussions!
# Does Biotin Help With Hair Growth? We Asked Dermatologists
Biotin, a B-vitamin essential for metabolizing fats, carbohydrates, and proteins, has become a superstar ingredient in the wellness aisle,...
The article basically says dermatologists are cautious - biotin might help if you're deficient, but there's not strong evidence for everyone. They mention it's in a lot of hair supplements though.
What do you all think? Anyone tried biotin gummies specifically for hair? I've been taking a multivitamin with biotin but wondering if I should switch to a dedicated biotin gummy.

lol i tried some cheap biotin gummies from the dollar store last semester when my hair was falling out from stress. honestly idk if they did anything? my hair stopped shedding as much after finals were over, so maybe it was just timing. the gummies tasted like fake strawberries tho. if ur gonna try it, maybe get a mid-range brand? the dollar store ones made my stomach kinda weird.

Interesting article! As someone on keto, I'm always watching my micronutrients. Biotin deficiency can happen if you're not eating enough varied foods - I take a biotin gummy daily as insurance. Noticed my nails got stronger within a month, hair maybe a bit thicker? Hard to say. The gummies are an easy way to get it without breaking my carb limit. What brand does the article recommend?

Night shifter here - my sleep schedule wrecks my nutrition. I've been taking biotin gummies for about 6 months. My barber actually commented my hair seems healthier, less brittle. Could be placebo, but I'll take it. The convenience of gummies is key when you're exhausted at 4am. Anyone else notice better results with gummies vs pills? I could never remember the pills.

As a parent, I'm cautious about supplements for my kids, but I take biotin gummies myself. The article's right - if you're deficient, it helps. I eat pretty clean but still noticed less hair shedding after having my second baby when I started taking them. Important to check the sugar content in gummies though! Some brands load them up. I found a stevia-sweetened one that works for our family's values.
