Hey everyone, just saw this article and thought it was super relevant to our biotin gummy discussions!
# Do Hair-Growth Supplements Work? It’s Complicated—Read Our Reviews of 6 Top Formulas
The quest for thicker, healthier hair has fueled a booming market for hair-growth supplements, with biotin gummies being super popular. The article basically says the science is mixed - some people see results, others don't, and it depends on your body and what formula you use. They reviewed 6 different brands.
What do you all think? Have biotin gummies worked for you or is it just hype? I've been taking them for 3 months and my nails are stronger but not sure about my hair yet.

Omg I was just reading this yesterday! I've tried 4 different biotin gummy brands over the past year. The vegan ones from Nature's Way gave me the best results - my hair feels thicker and I have less breakage. But the article is right, it's complicated! My sister tried the same brand and saw zero difference.
I think it depends on your diet too. If you're already getting enough biotin from food, supplements might not do much. Also some brands add unnecessary fillers - always check the ingredients!

Interesting article! From a scientific perspective, biotin deficiency CAN cause hair loss, but most people in developed countries get enough from their diet. The studies on biotin supplements for hair growth in non-deficient people are limited.
That said, the placebo effect is real and measurable! If you believe it's helping and it makes you feel better about your hair care routine, that's valid too. Just don't expect miracles - hair growth cycles are 2-7 years long, so you need patience. Also watch your B vitamin balance - too much biotin can mess with lab tests!

As someone who works nights and has weird eating schedules, I rely on gummies for consistency. Been taking biotin gummies for 6 months now. My barber actually commented last month that my hair seems fuller! Could be coincidence, but I'm sticking with it.
The convenience factor is huge for shift workers. Pill supplements I'd forget, but the gummies are like a treat I look forward to. Currently using the Olly brand - tastes good and doesn't upset my stomach like some pills do.

I approach this from a mindfulness angle - I take my biotin gummy as part of my morning meditation ritual. It's less about expecting dramatic hair growth and more about setting positive intentions for self-care.
The article's 'it's complicated' conclusion resonates with me. Our bodies and journeys are all unique! Maybe instead of asking 'do they work,' we should ask 'how do they make you feel?' For me, it's a small act of kindness to myself each day. That being said, I did notice less hair in my brush after 2 months!
