THREAD: Biotin Gummies - Love the Strawberry, Hate the Orange! What flavor should I try next?Started by OP

Hey everyone! So I've been taking these biotin gummies for a few months now and I'm OBSESSED with the strawberry flavor - they taste like candy! But the orange ones? Absolutely disgusting, they have this weird artificial aftertaste that makes me gag. I'm about to reorder and want to try a new flavor, but I'm scared I'll get another dud. What's the consensus on the 'best' flavor? Should I stick with strawberry or branch out?

OP, I feel you on the orange - total chemical taste! I'm all about the sugar-free options though. The raspberry sugar-free biotin gummies are my go-to. They don't have that weird aftertaste like some sugar-free stuff, and they're actually pretty tasty. Plus no sugar crash! Have you tried any sugar-free versions? The brand I use has a mixed berry that's decent too.

Keto here! Most gummies are loaded with sugar and carbs, which is why they taste good lol. But if you're sticking with regular ones, the mixed berry usually masks any weird flavors better than single flavors. That orange taste you hate is probably from the vitamin itself - biotin can have a funky taste. Berry flavors cover it best. Personally I switched to capsules because of the carbs, but when I did gummies, berry was the way to go.

As someone who cooks a lot, I think about flavor profiles! Strawberry works because it's sweet and masks bitterness well. Orange can go medicinal real quick if not balanced right. Have you tried the tropical blend? The pineapple and mango ones are usually good - they have enough natural sweetness to balance things out. I actually used some crushed berry gummies in a healthy dessert recipe once! Not recommending that necessarily, but flavors matter!

Thanks guys! Nina - I haven't tried sugar-free but maybe I should! Elias - good point about berries covering the biotin taste, that makes sense. Paula - tropical sounds promising! I think I'll go with mixed berry or tropical next time. Maybe I'll get a small pack of each to test. Appreciate the help - this forum is the best for supplement advice!
