THREAD: Traveling with Biotin Gummies - Do They Melt? TSA Rules?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip that involves flying, a road trip, and some hiking. I take biotin gummies daily for my hair and nails. Has anyone traveled with these before? Do they melt in heat? What about TSA rules for supplements? And any storage tips for keeping them fresh on the go? Thanks!

Great question! I always travel with my sugar-free biotin gummies. They're less likely to melt than sugary ones, but I still keep them in my carry-on bag, not checked luggage where temps can get extreme. TSA is usually fine with supplements in original packaging. Pro tip: put them in a small insulated lunch bag if you're worried about heat during hikes!

As a holistic healer, I recommend checking the ingredients first. Some biotin gummies have natural coatings that hold up better. For travel, I use a dark glass jar to protect them from light and heat—it aligns with energy preservation. TSA hasn't ever stopped me, but I keep them in my purse for easy access during flights. Safe journeys!

lol as an amateur chef, I've accidentally left gummy vitamins in my car on a hot day... they turned into a sticky mess! Definitely don't do that. For road trips, I keep mine in the cooler section of my bag. TSA-wise, I've flown with gummies no problem, just make sure the container is sealed. Maybe toss in a silica gel packet to absorb moisture?

Eco-warrior here! Consider the packaging—if it's plastic, try to transfer them to a reusable silicone pouch to reduce waste. For heat, avoid direct sunlight; I store mine in a shaded part of my backpack. TSA allows supplements, but I always carry a copy of the ingredients in case they ask. Happy and sustainable travels!
