THREAD: Found gummy vitamins on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone, was at Costco yesterday and saw their store-brand gummy vitamins on sale for like half the price of the name brands. I'm talking a huge bottle for under $10. Has anyone tried these? Is the lower price just because it's generic, or does it mean they're cutting corners on quality? Trying to decide if this is a steal or if I should stick with my usual pricier ones.

lol i feel you OP! as a tech gadget lover, i always check the specs. with vitamins, it's about the ingredients list. i compared costco's gummies to my usual brand on my phone right in the aisle. same active vitamins, but the costco ones had more filler like corn syrup. so maybe slightly lower quality? but for the price, might be worth it if you're not super strict. i'd say it's like buying off-brand tech cables - works fine for most people!

DIY enthusiast here! I actually make my own gummy vitamins sometimes (it's easier than you think!). Store brands often use similar formulas to name brands but with cheaper sourcing. The lower price at Costco is probably due to bulk buying and less marketing, not necessarily lower quality. Check the supplement facts panel - if the % daily values are comparable, it's likely a good deal. I'd say go for it and see how your body reacts!

Digital nomad perspective: I'm always looking for value since I'm on the move. I've bought those Costco gummies before when traveling through the US. They did the job energy-wise, and the price let me stock up. Quality felt decent - no weird aftertaste. For me, it's a steal because I prioritize cost and convenience. Unless you have specific dietary needs, generic brands are usually fine. Save the money for better coffee!
