THREAD: Looking for creatine gummy recommendations for gifts - aging parent OR fitness friend?Started by CrystalCathy784

Hey everyone, I'm trying to find some good creatine gummies as a gift, but I'm torn. My dad is 72 and starting to lose some muscle mass, and my best friend is a total gym rat who's always trying new supplements. I want something that's actually effective but also safe and easy to take. Are creatine gummies even legit? I've seen mixed reviews online. Any recommendations for brands that work for both older adults and fitness folks? Budget is flexible but don't want to waste money on junk.

CrystalCathy784 - I feel you! I got my mom (68) some creatine gummies last year from a brand called 'Vitality Chews' - they're vegan, no artificial colors, and she actually likes the taste (berry blend). She says she feels a bit more stable on her feet, but who knows if it's placebo? For your friend, maybe look at 'PowerPulse Gummies' - they have added B vitamins for energy. Just watch the sugar content though, some brands pack it in. Always check the label!

As a retired nurse, I'd caution about creatine for seniors without consulting their doctor first, especially if there are kidney issues. That said, if cleared, gummies can be easier to swallow than pills. Look for third-party tested brands like 'PureForm' or 'HealthGlo' - they're transparent about dosing. For your friend, creatine monohydrate in gummy form is fine, but remind them it's not a magic bullet - still needs proper diet and exercise. Maybe get a small pack to try first?

Night shift worker here - I use creatine gummies from 'NightFuel' to help with muscle recovery after long shifts, and they've been great. For gifts, consider a 'health pack' with a mix - like creatine gummies plus collagen or vitamin D gummies for your dad, and maybe caffeine-free energy gummies for your friend. Amazon has bundle deals sometimes. Just avoid anything with sketchy ingredients lists. Hope that helps!
