THREAD: Weird side effect from my new creatine gummies - anyone else?Started by OP

Hey all, just started taking these creatine gummies a week ago (brand is 'MuscleMunch' if that matters). They taste great, but I've noticed something weird - my urine has turned noticeably brighter yellow, almost neon-ish? No pain or anything, just... vibrant. Has anyone else experienced this with creatine gummies? Should I be concerned?

OP, first off - which flavor? I tried the orange blast ones and they were way too artificial tasting, but the berry fusion was decent. As for the urine thing, yeah I noticed that too when I started! It's probably just your body processing the creatine and other ingredients. Mine went back to normal after about 2 weeks. As long as you're drinking enough water (which you should be with creatine anyway), it's likely harmless. The real crime is some brands using cheap sweeteners though...

Can confirm - had the same thing happen when I added creatine gummies to my routine last month. Honestly, between work deadlines and my kid's soccer schedule, I barely noticed until my husband pointed it out lol. Doctor said it's fine as long as no other symptoms. These gummies are a lifesaver for me though - no mixing powders, just grab and go. Way easier to stick with than the traditional stuff.

This is actually super common! 💪 The bright urine is often due to excess B vitamins (especially B2/riboflavin) that many gummy formulas include for energy support. Your body excretes what it doesn't use. Make sure you're taking them consistently (3-5g creatine daily is the sweet spot for most people) and pairing with proper hydration and post-workout nutrition. Or maybe it's your body telling you it doesn't need artificially colored, sugar-coated supplements? Just a thought. I tried creatine gummies for a week last year and got headaches - turned out it was the artificial sweeteners. Stick to pure creatine monohydrate powder if you're serious about supplementation. That neon urine is probably just dye from the gummies passing through. Not exactly 'natural' if you ask me.
