THREAD: Weird GOLI Gummy Side Effect? Anyone Else?Started by VeggieVictor755

Hey all, been taking GOLI apple cider vinegar gummies for about 2 weeks to help with post-run inflammation. They taste great and seem to help, but I've noticed something odd—my urine has been noticeably brighter yellow, almost neon-ish? No pain or anything, just... vibrant. Hydration is on point (I track it for marathon training), so it's not dehydration. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just the B vitamins or something?

Med student here! That's actually a pretty common reaction to high-dose B vitamins, especially B2 (riboflavin). GOLI gummies have B9 and B12, and sometimes other B-complexes depending on the blend. Riboflavin is water-soluble and excreted in urine, causing a bright yellow color—it's harmless and just means your body is using what it needs and getting rid the excess. As long as you're not having pain, fever, or dark urine (which could indicate liver issues), it's likely fine. But if you're concerned, maybe check with your doc, especially since you're an athlete!

Biohacker perspective: Yep, seen this with lots of supplements. The bright urine is usually from B vitamins, like Olivia said. I've logged my own experiments with GOLI—for me, it was more about vivid dreams (maybe the B6 influence on neurotransmitters?). If you're optimizing, you could try splitting your dose or taking it earlier in the day to see if it changes. Also, what's your full stack look like? Sometimes interactions amplify effects. Keep us posted!

Eco-warrior chiming in! First, glad it's harmless, Victor. But this is why I'm wary of synthetics—even in gummy form. Those bright colors in urine might reflect how our bodies process these lab-made vitamins. Have you considered natural alternatives? Like actual apple cider vinegar (with the mother) or whole-food-based supplements? Less processing, fewer weird side effects, and better for the planet. Just a thought! Hope you feel okay though.
