Hey everyone, just saw this article and wanted to share: # UK Regulator Warns of Melatonin in Children’s Gummies
A recent warning from the UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) highlights a critical issue for parents who rely on dietary supplements for their kids. They're finding melatonin in children's gummies that aren't labeled properly, which can be dangerous since melatonin is a hormone and not something to mess with casually. What do you all think? Are you checking labels more carefully now?

OMG this is exactly why I'm so strict about sugar-free AND checking every ingredient! Melatonin is serious stuff - it's not just a vitamin, it's a hormone that regulates sleep. Giving it to kids without medical supervision? No thanks. I always look for gummies with simple, natural ingredients and no hidden additives. Parents really need to read labels, not just assume 'gummy' means safe. Has anyone found brands they trust completely?

As a yoga instructor, I believe in natural sleep solutions first. Melatonin gummies might seem like a quick fix, but they can disrupt a child's natural sleep cycle long-term. I recommend establishing a calming bedtime routine - maybe some gentle stretches, lavender oil, or chamomile tea instead. That said, if supplements are needed, transparency is key! This warning is a good reminder to research brands thoroughly. Does anyone have experience with melatonin-free sleep gummies that actually work?

Wow, scary stuff! I'm usually all about tech gadgets for health tracking, but this makes me want an app that scans gummy labels for hidden ingredients lol. Seriously though, I've been giving my nephew vitamin gummies for years and never thought to check for melatonin specifically. Going to inspect my stash tonight with a magnifying glass (kidding... mostly). Anyone know if this is mainly a UK issue or happening elsewhere too?
