THREAD: Magnesium Gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone, just spotted some magnesium gummies at Costco for like half the price I usually pay at my local pharmacy. They're the Nature's Bounty brand. Has anyone tried these? Worried the lower price means they're cutting corners on quality or something. Or is this just a legit steal? Need my magnesium for muscle cramps but don't wanna waste money on junk.

omg i literally just bought these last week! i use them in my baking sometimes for healthy snacks - they melt into energy bars pretty well. honestly they taste fine, like a mild orange flavor, and my cramps after long kitchen shifts have eased up. costco often has bulk deals so might just be good pricing? but i did notice the serving size is slightly smaller than my usual brand, so check that!

First, check the ingredients!! Costco ones might be vegan-friendly (gelatin-free) which is a win. Lower price doesn't always mean lower quality—big stores negotiate better deals. I've seen brands reduce costs by using simpler packaging or bulk sourcing. If it's a reputable brand like Nature's Bounty, it's probably fine. Just compare labels to your usual; if the active magnesium content matches, go for it. Support conscious consumption!

lol i feel you on the price worry! i tried a target sale brand once and they were gritty, ruined my smoothie toppings. but costco's usually reliable. i'd say if the nutrition panel shows similar magnesium per gummy (like 50-100mg), it's a steal. maybe they're clearing old stock? i'd grab em and test in a small recipe first before committing fully. my two cents!
