THREAD: Magnesium Gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone, just spotted Nature's Way Magnesium gummies at Costco for like half the price I usually pay at Whole Foods. They're 120 count for $15.99. Is this a legit steal or should I be worried about quality? I've heard cheaper supplements sometimes skimp on bioavailability or have fillers. Anyone tried these?

I keep it simple - check the label. If the ingredients match your usual brand (magnesium citrate/glycinate, no artificial junk), it's probably fine. Costco often has good bulk deals on basics. I'd buy them if the mg per serving is clear and it fits my minimalist approach - fewer ingredients = better.

Bro, I've been using those exact gummies from Costco for months. No issues - still hitting PRs at the gym and recovery is solid. Price doesn't always mean quality; sometimes you're just paying for marketing. As long as the magnesium source is good (these use citrate), it's a win. The 120 count lasts me forever too.

Hmm, I'd be cautious. Many gummies have sugar alcohols or additives that don't align with paleo principles. What's the sweetener? If it's stevia or monk fruit and no weird binders, might be okay for a treat. Personally, I stick to powder forms for purity, but if you're not strict paleo, the Costco deal could work.

Thanks all! Checked the label - it's magnesium citrate, stevia-sweetened, no artificial colors. Sounds like it's worth a shot. EarthElias975, good to hear they work for recovery. Gonna grab a bottle and see how it goes. Appreciate the insights!
