THREAD: Found melatonin gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone, was at Costco yesterday and saw their Kirkland melatonin gummies on sale for like half the price of the brand name ones I usually get. Has anyone tried these? Worried the lower price means they're lower quality or maybe less effective. Or is this just a total steal I should stock up on?

I actually make my own sleep gummies sometimes! From what I've seen, a lot of store brands use similar ingredients to name brands but cut costs on packaging or marketing. Check the label - if the melatonin dose per serving is the same (usually 3-5mg) and there aren't a ton of artificial additives, it's probably fine. I'd say go for it if the ingredients list looks clean!

Price isn't always about quality, but it can reflect sourcing ethics. Big box stores often pressure suppliers to cut corners, which might mean less sustainable ingredients or questionable labor practices. Have you checked if the Costco brand uses organic ingredients or fair-trade certifications? Sometimes paying a bit more supports better practices. Just my two cents!

As someone who's tried like 5 different brands between Target, CVS, and online... honestly most melatonin gummies work the same for me. The Kirkland ones are totally fine - I've used them during busy weeks when I need to wind down fast. If they're on sale, I'd grab a couple bottles. No need to overthink it when you're just trying to catch some Z's!
