THREAD: Melatonin gummies - unexpected side effect? Actually good!Started by SupplementSteve43

Hey all, so I started taking melatonin gummies about 2 weeks ago to help with my sleep schedule (I work late shifts as a chef and my sleep was all over the place). The sleep part is working pretty well, but here's the weird thing: my skin has cleared up noticeably! I used to get random breakouts, especially after handling spicy ingredients, but my face has been way calmer. Anyone else notice something like this? Not complaining, just curious if it's a known thing or just me.

Steve, that's fascinating! In holistic healing, we often talk about how sleep and stress are deeply connected to skin health. Melatonin is a hormone that regulates sleep, but it also has antioxidant properties. Your body might be responding to better rest by reducing inflammation, which can show up in your skin. Have you changed anything else in your routine? Sometimes it's the synergy of small changes. I'd recommend pairing it with a chamomile tea before bed for even more calming effects 🌿

OMG YES! I've been taking melatonin gummies for about a month now, and I totally get what you mean. I started for sleep too (trying to cut down on screen time before bed), but I've felt way less stressed during the day. Like, I don't get as frazzled when my content schedule gets hectic. Maybe it's the better sleep quality? I did a quick deep dive and some studies suggest melatonin can help with mood regulation. Anyone else experience less anxiety? #WellnessWin

Interesting thread! I take melatonin gummies occasionally after tough weekend hikes to help me wind down. Haven't noticed skin changes, but my recovery seems faster? I used to feel sore for days, but lately I'm bouncing back quicker. Could be placebo, but I'll take it! Steve, maybe keep a little log to track if it's consistent. Also, what brand are you using? I'm always up for trying new stuff to optimize my routine 💪
