Yo, so I started taking melatonin gummies to help with sleep (I do keto and sometimes have trouble winding down). But after like two weeks, I noticed my skin looks way clearer and less red. Anyone else experience this? I'm not complaining, just curious if it's the melatonin or something else.

Interesting! There is some research on melatonin's antioxidant properties. It can help with skin repair and might reduce inflammation. But I'd check the other ingredients in your gummies – some have added stuff like collagen or vitamin C. What brand are you using? Also, are you sure it's not just better sleep? Sleep definitely affects skin.

I've been taking melatonin gummies for a month now, mainly for jet lag, but I've also noticed I'm less stressed during the day. Could be placebo, but I'll take it. My skin? Not sure, but I did get a compliment last week. Maybe there's something to this. What dosage are you on, OP?

To add, melatonin is a hormone, so long-term use can mess with your natural production. I'd cycle it or use it only when needed. But if you're seeing benefits, that's cool. Just be careful with dosing. Also, check if your gummies have sugar alcohols – those can cause gut issues for some.

Thanks for the replies! I'm taking 5mg from a brand called "SleepWell" – ingredients just melatonin, sugar, and some natural flavors. I'll try cycling it and see if the skin effect stays. Vince, maybe it's the reduced stress from better sleep? Either way, I'm not mad about it.
