Melatonin Gummies: Unexpected Skin Glow?
Hey all, so I started taking melatonin gummies for sleep (I travel a lot for work and my schedule is all over the place). They work great for that, but I've noticed something weird - my skin looks way better! I'm not complaining, but has anyone else experienced this? I'm a guy so I never really paid attention to skincare, but my face seems clearer and more hydrated. Any thoughts?
Interesting! Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant, way more than just a sleep hormone. It directly scavenges free radicals and can reduce oxidative stress, which is a major cause of premature aging. So yeah, it's plausible. Also, better sleep = lower cortisol = less inflammation, which definitely shows up on your skin. Keep doing what you're doing!
I've been using melatonin gummies for recovery after heavy CrossFit sessions, they knock me out! But haven't noticed skin stuff, maybe I'm just not looking lol. I'll check my face in the mirror more often now 😂
Okay so I'm a caffeine addict and my sleep is trash. I tried melatonin but it gave me vivid dreams and I woke up groggy. Maybe I should try a lower dose? Also, if it helps with skin, I'm double in. Any brand recommendations?
