THREAD: Found multivitamin gummies on sale - too good to be true or a steal?Started by OP

Hey everyone, just saw Nature's Way Alive! multivitamin gummies on clearance at my local Target - like 50% off. I usually buy them full price at the pharmacy. Is this a sign they're lower quality or expired, or did I just score a major deal? The expiration date is still 6 months out. Anyone else seen deals like this?

Med student here - price doesn't necessarily mean lower quality! Stores often discount to clear inventory for new stock. Check the label carefully: same ingredients, dosage, and manufacturer as the regular ones. If it matches and isn't expired, it's probably fine. Pharma companies have strict quality controls regardless of retail price. But avoid if the packaging looks damaged or seals broken.

As a paleo dieter, I'm skeptical of any processed gummies tbh, sale or not. Many have added sugars or artificial stuff that defeats the purpose of a 'health' supplement. If you're gonna buy, read the ingredient list like a hawk. That said, I've scored deals on clean brands at Costco before - sometimes bulk discounts are legit. Just don't let the low price trick you into compromising on ingredients.

Amateur chef perspective - I sometimes use vitamin gummies in recipes for my kids' snacks! When I see sales at the pharmacy, I stock up. Quality-wise, I haven't noticed a difference between sale and full-price gummies. They still taste the same and hold up in homemade fruit bars. Maybe check online reviews for that specific batch? But 50% off with 6 months left sounds like a steal to me!

Keto believer here - most multivitamin gummies are already questionable due to sugar content, so price is the least of your worries lol. But if you're committed to gummies, sales can be great. I've found keto-friendly brands discounted at local pharmacies when they're discontinuing a flavor. Just verify the net carbs haven't changed. If it's the exact same product, cheaper is better - more money left for quality fats!
