ok so i've been a 4-cups-of-coffee-before-noon kind of person for years. sleep was trash, always tired, whatever. my wife picked up some multivitamin gummies at costco (the ones with biotin and vit C and a bunch of other stuff) and i started taking 2 a night mostly just to humor her and maybe help me sleep. fast forward like 3 weeks. i'm not gonna lie, my sleep is maybe slightly better? but the WEIRD thing is my skin looks amazing?? like i had these dark circles and kinda dull skin and now people at work are asking if i got a facial. also i just feel... calmer? less wired at 3pm. is this a thing?? did anyone else start these for one reason and get random other benefits? am i imagining it

lol welcome to the club. i started taking gummies for hair/nails because my gym buddy swore by them, and honestly the biggest change was my recovery. i used to be sore for 3 days after leg day, now its like 1.5 days. i think its the B vitamins and zinc honestly. also yeah biotin can do wild stuff for skin, thats prob what ur seeing. how much biotin is in yours? some of those costco ones have a lot

this reminds me of when i started taking fish oil in my 30s for my knees and ended up with way better mood. weird how the body works. anyway op, dont overthink it, if its working its working. but word of advice, check the label for what else is in there. some of those gummy multis sneak in caffeine or green tea extract and thats the LAST thing you need if you're already a coffee person lol

ok but the calm thing is real!! i take a multivitamin gummy with magnesium in it and i swear it mellowed me out. i used to be a total stress ball. now i just... dont care as much? in a good way. also op your skin thing might be the vitamin C + E combo, thats what my derm said anyway. not medical advice just anecdotal!! but yeah i noticed less breakouts too. how long have u been on them exactly?

thanks everyone, this is actually super reassuring. @TendonTom185 i checked and no caffeine thank god, its just a standard multi with biotin, C, D, E, zinc, B12. @PlantPat640 i think its 5000mcg biotin? is that a lot? and @CitrusClaire891 its been like 24 days now. the calm thing is honestly the most surprising part, i figured it was placebo but now idk. gonna keep taking them and see if it keeps up. appreciate the replies!
