THREAD: Weird side effect from my multivitamin gummies - anyone else?Started by OP

Hey all, been taking these multivitamin gummies for about 2 weeks now (the berry flavored ones from Nature's Way). They're great and all, but I've noticed something weird - my dreams have been SUPER vivid lately. Like, movie-level detail, and I remember them all morning. It's not scary or anything, just... intense. Has anyone else experienced this with their gummies? Is it the B vitamins maybe?

Interesting observation! You're likely correct about the B vitamins - specifically B6 (pyridoxine) which plays a role in neurotransmitter synthesis and can affect dream vividness in some individuals. The typical dose in multivitamin gummies (usually 2-5mg) shouldn't cause issues for most people, but individual biochemistry varies. Are you taking them at night? Consider switching to morning consumption if so. Also check if you're taking any other supplements with additional B vitamins.

OMG yes! I thought I was going crazy lol. I'm training for my 3rd marathon and started taking gummies about a month ago. My dreams have been WILD - last night I dreamed I was running through a candy forest being chased by giant gummy bears ๐ It doesn't mess with my sleep quality though, and my energy levels are great for training. Maybe it's our bodies adjusting to better nutrition?

Working remotely from Bali right now and experiencing something similar but different - my taste buds seem more sensitive? Like coffee tastes way more bitter than before, and I'm craving citrus fruits constantly. Started about 10 days into my gummy routine. Could be the zinc or vitamin C content affecting taste perception. The vivid dreams sound cool though - free entertainment!

Bro, bright yellow pee here ๐ช That's the B vitamins for sure - riboflavin (B2) makes your urine fluorescent yellow when your body excretes the excess. Totally normal and harmless. As for dreams, I haven't noticed that, but I take mine right after my morning workout. Maybe try taking them earlier in the day like HealthHacker said? The body processes stuff differently at night.
