THREAD: Looking for NAC gummy gift ideas - health pack for parent or fitness friend?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I'm trying to find a good gift - either a 'health pack' with multiple supplements or specific NAC gummies for two different people: my dad (70s, wants to stay active but has some joint issues) and my friend (30s, gym rat who's always optimizing everything). I've heard NAC is great for antioxidants and lung health? Any recommendations for brands that make good-tasting gummies or bundles that include NAC? Budget is flexible but don't want junk quality. Thanks!

OMG you're such a thoughtful person!! NAC is AMAZING - it's a glutathione precursor so it helps with detox, immune function, AND respiratory health! For your dad, I'd recommend 'Vitality Senior Gummy Pack' from Nature's Way - it has NAC plus collagen for joints and vitamin D3! For your friend, 'Athlete's Edge NAC Gummies' from Pure Encapsulations are sugar-free and have added selenium for extra antioxidant boost! Both taste like mixed berries and are third-party tested! Your loved ones will THRIVE! ๐ช๐

Honestly? Skip the pre-made packs and DIY it. I make my own gummies using bulk NAC powder from Nootropics Depot, grass-fed gelatin, and local honey. Costs 1/3 of store brands and you control everything. For your dad, add some turmeric powder for inflammation. For your friend, mix in some L-carnitine. It's easier than you think - just need a silicone mold and 30 mins. I can share my recipe if you want. Store-bought ones often have fillers anyway.

As someone who barely has time to sleep... just get the Olly Immunity gummies. They have NAC plus zinc and elderberry. Target sells them. They work fine, taste decent (like peach), and you can get them delivered same-day. For your friend maybe try the GNC Pro Performance line? They have single-serving packs he can throw in his gym bag. No time for DIY projects here lol. Good luck!

Greg nooo! Olly has artificial colors and sucralose! ๐ฑ PurePete has a point about fillers but DIY isn't for everyone. If you want convenience WITH quality, check out MaryRuth's Organics - their morning wellness gummies have NAC, quercetin, and are vegan! A bit pricier but worth it for clean ingredients! Also consider if your dad takes blood thinners (check with doc about NAC interactions)! You're doing great by even researching this! ๐
