THREAD: Started Omega-3 for sleep, but wow... unexpected benefits!Started by OP

Hey everyone! So I started taking these omega-3 gummies about a month ago because I was having trouble sleeping (insomnia is the worst). I read somewhere that it might help with sleep quality. Well, I'm not sure if my sleep is better yet, but my skin has cleared up SO much! I used to get these annoying breakouts on my chin, and now they're basically gone. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'm using the brand 'SeaBreeze' if that matters.

OP, that's awesome to hear! Just a heads up tho - most omega-3 gummies are made from fish oil, which isn't vegan. I had to hunt for ages to find a good algae-based one. I take mine for joint health (running a vegan food truck is hard on the knees lol), but I've noticed my mood is way more stable. Less anxiety spikes during busy shifts. Maybe the skin thing is from reduced inflammation? Either way, glad you found something that works!

Bro, YES! I take the fish oil ones post-WOD for recovery. Started them to help with muscle soreness after heavy lifts. But my stress levels have dropped big time. Used to get super tense during work deadlines, now I'm way more chill. My coach says it's probably the DHA supporting brain function. Also my hair feels thicker? Might be in my head tho lol. What's your dosage, OP?

Marathon training here! I've been on omega-3s for years for heart health (family history). The skin improvement is real - I think it's the anti-inflammatory properties helping with overall cellular repair. I use a liquid form, but gummies are great for consistency. For sleep, try pairing them with magnesium about an hour before bed. That combo works wonders for my recovery sleep after long runs. Happy to hear you're seeing benefits!
