Hey everyone, saw this new report about collagen patches and had to share. It's from some consumer analysis group, comparing transdermal patches vs oral powders vs topical creams. TL;DR: patches are blowing up but the science is still murky. Anyone here tried a collagen patch? I'm a caffeine addict so I need all the help I can get for my skin, lol. Link in bio. What do you guys think?

Interesting! I'm all about DIY, so I've actually made my own collagen patches using gelatin and vitamin C serum. Works okay, but messy. The report says transdermal delivery might bypass digestion, but I'm skeptical. Oral collagen peptides have more studies behind them. Also, topical is just a moisturizer with marketing. Change my mind.

I'm a nature photographer and spend a lot of time outdoors, so I'm always looking for ways to protect my skin. I tried a collagen patch once, but it irritated my sensitive skin. The report mentions that some patches use adhesives that can cause reactions. I'll stick to my oral powder in my morning tea. BTW, anyone else find that collagen powder clumps? Drives me nuts.

As a student on a budget, I can barely afford collagen powder, let alone fancy patches. The report probably says they're overpriced. I'll stick to my store-brand collagen pills from Walmart. But hey, if anyone finds a cheap patch that works, let me know! Also, is it just me or does the article seem kinda biased toward patches? Maybe they sponsored it?

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, I noticed the article might be sponsored too. @PlantPat703, I feel you on the budget. I've been using a cheap collagen powder from Amazon, but I'm curious about patches for convenience. @QuantumQuincy217, DIY patches sound intense! Maybe I'll try making them. @TeaTina868, clumping is the worst – I use a frother to mix mine. Anyway, seems like oral is still king, but patches are intriguing. Keep the thoughts coming!
