THREAD: Found gummy vitamin powders on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw these gummy vitamin powder mixes (like the ones you stir into water) on clearance for like half price. The brand is Nature's Way, I think? Has anyone tried these? Is the low price a red flag for lower quality, or did I just score a major deal? My kids love gummies but powders might be easier for smoothies...

Ooh, I've seen those! As a granola parent, I'm always skeptical of clearance supplements. Check the expiration date first—sometimes they're just clearing out old stock. Also, peek at the ingredient list. If it's loaded with artificial colors or sweeteners, that might be why it's cheap. I'd rather pay full price for something clean and organic, but if the ingredients look good, it could be a steal for smoothies!

NATURE'S WAY IS SOLID! I've tried their powder line—the vitamin C one is legit. Costco often has great deals on quality stuff, so I doubt it's lower quality. Maybe it's just overstock or a packaging change? Pro tip: mix it into yogurt or oatmeal instead of water for extra yum. If it's not expired, GO FOR IT! My cabinet is full of these finds lol.

As an amateur chef, I've experimented with gummy powders in recipes! Lower price doesn't always mean worse—sometimes stores discount items that aren't selling well. I used a similar powder to make homemade gummy bears once, and they turned out great. If you're into DIY, this could be a fun base. Just taste a small bit first to check for any weird aftertaste.

Hmm, from a holistic view, price can reflect sourcing. Cheap might mean synthetic vitamins or poor absorption. I'd meditate on whether your body truly needs it—sometimes sales tempt us into unnecessary buys. But if it aligns with your wellness journey and the ingredients are pure (look for no fillers!), it could be a sign from the universe to stock up. Blessed be!
