Hey everyone, I was browsing at Costco yesterday and saw these gummy vitamin supplement powders on clearance - like 40% off the usual price. The brand is 'VitaBlend' and it's a multivitamin powder you mix into drinks. Has anyone tried these? I'm wondering if the big discount means they're lower quality or about to expire, or if I just stumbled on a steal. Would love to hear your thoughts before I stock up!

omg i've tried that brand! the tropical flavor one is actually pretty decent - not too chalky and mixes well in smoothies. but tbh i got a batch once that tasted kinda metallic? might have been sitting too long. if it's at costco tho, they usually rotate stock fast so could just be overstock. check the expiry date on the tub! if it's good for 6+ months, i'd say go for it - worst case you waste a few bucks but might score big on taste.

Interesting find! From a formulation perspective, powders can vary in bioavailability and ingredient sourcing. Lower prices might indicate cheaper fillers (like maltodextrin) or synthetic vitamins vs. whole-food sources. I'd recommend checking the supplement facts panel closely - look for third-party certifications (NSF, USP) which Costco often carries. Also, storage matters: powders exposed to humidity degrade faster. If it's a reputable brand and within date, it could indeed be a value purchase without quality loss.

as a paleo guy, i'm always skeptical of processed supplements... but powders can be handy. key thing: scan the ingredients for grains, legumes, or artificial junk. sometimes sales happen when brands reformulate to cut costs with non-paleo fillers. if the label looks clean (no soy, gluten, weird additives) and the price is right, might be worth a try for a quick nutrient boost. i'd say grab one tub first to test before bulk buying tho.
