Hey all! My best friend just found out she's preggo and I want to put together a little health pack for her. I know she hates swallowing pills, so I'm thinking prenatal gummies. Any recs? I'm totally lost—there are like a million brands. Also, are they as good as the regular pills? She's a bit of a health nut, so I don't want to get something junky. Thanks!

Congrats to your friend! I'm not a prenatal expert (paleo dude here), but my sister used the SmartyPants Prenatal Gummies and loved them. They're organic-ish and have folate instead of folic acid, which some people prefer. Just watch out for the sugar content—some gummies are basically candy. Also, if she's a health nut, she might want to check if they have iron. Most gummies don't, so she might need a separate supplement. Good luck!

I second SmartyPants! I took them during my pregnancy and they were easy on the stomach. But tell her to check with her doc first. My OB said gummies are fine but she might need extra iron and calcium. Oh, and if your friend is into fitness, maybe add some protein bars or a cute water bottle to the pack? Just a thought. Btw, I have a 20% off code if you want it—DM me!

Not a mom, but my wife used the Garden of Life prenatal gummies. She said they tasted like berries and didn't have that fishy aftertaste some prenatals have. Also, they're vegetarian if that matters. But yeah, definitely double-check with her doctor because some gummies lack certain nutrients. And hey, if you're making a health pack, throw in some ginger chews for nausea—my wife swore by them. Good luck, and congrats to your friend!
