Okay so I need to vent/ask for advice. My 4-year-old found my probiotic gummies in the pantry yesterday and thought they were 'special candy.' He ate like 5 before I caught him! He's fine (thank goodness), but now he keeps asking for 'the rainbow candy' and I'm worried he'll try to sneak them again. Anyone else deal with this? How do you store yours so kids don't get into them?

Oh dear, that does sound concerning! As a grandparent, I remember when my own children were little - we kept all supplements in a high cabinet with a child lock. But more importantly, have you considered switching to a powder form? Many probiotic powders can be mixed into smoothies or yogurt without the 'candy' appeal. The gummies are convenient, but safety first!

lol been there! My 3yo REFUSES to eat the gummies bc she says they're 'too squishy' but will happily steal my husband's chewable vitamins?? Kids make no sense. We ended up putting all vitamins/supplements in one of those clear lockboxes from the container store. It's annoying to open every morning but at least no more sneaky snacking. Also maybe try telling your kid they're 'special grownup medicine' not candy?

Thanks both! Holly - I hadn't thought about powders, that's a good idea. Yuri - the lockbox sounds smart, and I love the 'grownup medicine' angle. My kid is currently obsessed with being 'a big kid' so that might actually work! Going to move them to the top shelf tonight and look into lock options. Appreciate the tips!
