Hey everyone, I've been taking Shilajit gummies for about a month, but this new bottle I opened, the gummies are darker and kind of hard, almost like they have sugar on them. They also stick together a bit. Are they still safe to eat? I'm worried I wasted my money or they're spoiled.

I've had that happen with my gummy vitamins before, not just Shilajit. Usually it's just sugar blooming or moisture, but they should be fine. As long as they don't smell weird or have mold, I'd eat them. My rule: when in doubt, check the expiry and texture. If they're just hard, they might still be okay. Maybe store them in a cooler place.

Oh, I had that too with some brand! I think it's normal, especially if they were exposed to heat or humidity. The color change is probably oxidation, which is natural for shilajit. I wouldn't worry, but if you're super concerned, you can contact the company. I usually eat them anyway, and I'm fine. Just make sure they don't taste rancid. If they do, toss them.

I totally get the worry! But honestly, I've had gummies do that and they were still good. It's just the coating or something. But if they're hard as rocks and you can't bite them, you could try soaking them in water? No, that might ruin them. Better to check with the brand. I've seen some say it's fine, but if you're not sure, better safe than sorry. Maybe cut one open and see if it's still soft inside.

Thanks everyone! I'll check for mold and try one. They don't smell off, so I'll give it a go. But if they taste weird, I'll toss them. Appreciate the help!
