Hey everyone! I've been taking these Shilajit gummies for a couple months now, but when I opened a new bottle, they're darker and harder than before. Some are even stuck together like a brick. I know gummies can change, but is this normal? Are they still safe to eat or did they go bad? Any advice?

Oh man, I feel you! My kids' vitamins do this all the time, and they're still fine. Usually it's just sugar bloom or the gelatin drying out. If they smell normal and aren't moldy, I'd say they're okay. But with Shilajit, maybe check for any weird odors? I'd probably pop a few in the freezer to make them easier to separate.

As someone who makes my own gummies, I can tell you that texture changes are pretty common. It's usually due to moisture or temperature shifts. If they were sealed properly, they should be safe. But if they've gotten super hard or crumbly, they might be past their prime. Try a tiny piece and see how it tastes – if it's bitter or off, toss them. Also, you can store them in a cool, dry place to prevent this.

I'm on a budget too, so I get not wanting to waste money. But trust me, don't risk it if they look weird. Maybe try to return them? I had a batch of gummies do that once, and the company sent me a new one for free. Otherwise, I'd probably eat them if they don't smell funky, but that's just me being cheap. 😅

Honestly, I've seen Shilajit do some weird things because it's so concentrated. But if the texture changed drastically, it might be due to moisture getting in. Check the bottle for any cracks. I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer – they know best. And if you do eat them, make sure you're not allergic or anything. Stay safe!
