THREAD: Weird side effect from Shilajit gummies - anyone else?Started by PurePete864

Hey all, been taking these Shilajit gummies for about 3 weeks now (doing 16:8 fasting, so I take them during my eating window). Noticed something weird though - my dreams have gotten SUPER vivid. Like, last night I dreamed I was a squirrel collecting acorns in a neon forest. Not bad or scary, just... intense. Anyone else experience this? Is it the shilajit or just coincidence?

OMG YES! I make my own shilajit gummies (with grass-fed gelatin and local honey) and I've had the same thing! My theory is it's the fulvic acid content - it's known to affect neurotransmitters. Also noticed my taste buds changed slightly - sweet things taste sweeter now. Have you tried adjusting your dosage? I found cutting back to half a gummy helped.

Interesting! I've been taking the brand "Himalayan Boost" gummies for 2 months (so convenient for my 60hr work weeks). No vivid dreams, but my urine is definitely brighter yellow - almost neon. Freaked me out at first but my doc said it's harmless, probably just the B-vitamins they add. Pete - maybe track it with your fasting app?

lol the neon pee thing happened to me too! But I drink like 4 coffees a day so everything's weird. The dreams though - I got those when I first started. Lasted about a month then faded. Now I just feel more energy (which I NEED with my caffeine crashes). Maybe your body's adjusting, Pete? Try taking them earlier in your eating window?
