THREAD: Sleep Gummies on Sale at Costco - Too Good to Be True?Started by QuartzQuinn454

Hey everyone, just saw a huge sale on sleep gummies at Costco - like 40% off the usual price. I'm desperate for some decent sleep with my toddler waking up every 2 hours, but I'm worried: does the lower price mean they're cutting corners on quality? Or is this just a legit steal? Anyone tried the Costco brand ones?

Honestly, I'd be skeptical. Most supplements aren't regulated like meds, and a big discount might mean old stock or weaker ingredients. Check the expiration date and the active amounts per serving - sometimes they skimp on melatonin or whatever's in there. I've seen cheaper brands with half the dose listed on fancy ones.

Ooh, which ones? I grabbed some sleep gummies at Target last month for my post-hike recovery weekends, and they worked fine! Price doesn't always equal quality - sometimes it's just bulk buying. Costco's Kirkland brand is usually decent. If they have melatonin + magnesium, I'd say go for it. Weekend warriors need their zzz's too!

Thanks guys! They're the Kirkland Sleep Support gummies - says melatonin 3mg and some L-theanine. Expiration is next year, so not old. Pat, you're right to check, but Cathy's point about bulk makes sense. Maybe I'll try a small pack first. If they help me survive the 3am wake-ups, I'll stock up!

Just be cautious - 3mg melatonin is on the higher side for gummies, and some people report grogginess. Cheaper brands might use lower-quality fillers too. But if Costco has a return policy, it's low risk. Let us know how it goes, but I'm still side-eyeing any supplement sale tbh.
