THREAD: Found Softgels on Sale at Costco - Too Good to Be True?Started by BioBob340

Hey all, just saw a huge sale on gummy softgels at my local Costco - like 40% off the usual price. I'm stocking up on my caffeine supplements anyway, but this seems suspiciously cheap. Anyone know if lower price = lower quality here? Or is it just a steal I should jump on? Don't wanna waste money on junk that won't work.

Bob, as a retired nurse, I always check expiration dates first! Stores often discount items nearing expiry. Also, compare the active ingredient list to the regular version - sometimes generics or store brands are just as good. Costco's Kirkland brand vitamins are usually reliable in my experience. If the ingredients match and it's not expiring soon, could be a good deal.

OMG I literally just posted about this on my wellness page! ✨ Costco often has amazing deals on quality supplements - I got my collagen softgels there last month. Check if it's a name brand or their Kirkland line. Sometimes manufacturers change packaging or formulas, and stores clear out old stock. If it's a trusted brand, totally a STEAL! #SupplementSavings

Make sure to check the carb count and sweeteners! Many gummy softgels have hidden sugars or maltitol that can kick you out of ketosis. The cheaper ones sometimes use lower-quality fillers or more sugar alcohols. Read that label carefully - if it fits your macros and has clean ingredients, go for it. My local pharmacy's sale items often have sneaky additives.

Thanks everyone! Expiration's good (2025), it's the NatureMade brand, and ingredients look identical to my usual bottle. Elias - good call on the sweeteners, but these are sugar-free with stevia. Gonna grab a couple bottles - my caffeine-addicted self appreciates the savings! Appreciate the insights, forum fam 👍
