THREAD: Weird side effect from my gummy vitamins? Anyone else?Started by OP

Hey everyone, I've been taking these gummy multivitamins with softgels for about two weeks now, and I've noticed something kinda strange. My dreams have been SUPER vivid lately - like, movie-quality detailed and sometimes a bit trippy. Nothing scary, just really intense. Has anyone else experienced this with their supplements? Is it normal or should I be concerned? I'm using the brand with the green bottle, if that helps.

OMG yes!! I had the same thing when I started my current blend! I make my own gummy vitamins at home (way cheaper and you control the ingredients) and when I added B6, I started having these wild dreams about flying over mountains and talking animals. It's harmless from what I've read - just your brain processing the nutrients. If you're worried, maybe try taking them in the morning instead of before bed? DIY tip: you can adjust the B-vitamin ratios if you make your own!

lol not the dreams but my pee turned neon yellow when I started taking the budget store brand softgels. freaked me out at first but apparently it's just excess riboflavin (B2) and totally normal. as long as you're not having actual symptoms like nausea or rashes, you're probably fine. these things are pretty regulated. save your money and don't stress - student budget pro tip: the vivid dreams might be from the B vitamins, they're in almost all multis.

Interesting... I've been meditating more lately and taking these mushroom blend gummies with softgels. I haven't noticed vivid dreams, but my sense of taste seems heightened? Like my morning smoothie tastes way more vibrant. Maybe it's the supplements, maybe it's the mindfulness practice. Either way, if it's not causing harm, perhaps lean into it? Could be your body's way of saying it's absorbing nutrients well. Just my two cents from a meditation newbie!
