THREAD: Started Vitamin C gummies for sleep, but WOW my skin is glowing??Started by KetoKevin956

Hey all, so I've been taking these Vitamin C gummies for about 2 weeks now. Honestly, I got them because I read somewhere they might help with sleep quality (I'm a weekend warrior and sometimes crash hard on Sundays). But the weird thing? I haven't really noticed better sleep, BUT my skin looks amazing! Like, my wife even commented that my complexion is clearer and less dull. Anyone else experience something totally unexpected from their supplements?

Oh totally! I make my own kombucha and yogurt, so I'm all about DIY health stuff. I started Vitamin C gummies last year for immune support during flu season. But yeah, my skin got way smoother too—less dry patches. I think it's the collagen synthesis boost from Vitamin C. Maybe check if your gummies have added bioflavonoids? That could enhance the skin effect. Btw, what brand are you using? I'm curious if it's a common ingredient thing.

Blessings, dear! As a holistic healer, I'm not surprised at all. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that clears toxins and balances your inner energy flow. Your skin is reflecting your body's purification! I'd suggest pairing it with herbal tea like rosehip (rich in C too) for synergy. Sleep might improve later as your system harmonizes. Listen to your body—it's telling you what it needs. 🌿

Skeptical mom here... I've tried gummies for my kids' immunity, but I'm always wary of placebo effects. Kevin, did you change anything else in your routine? New moisturizer, diet, less stress? Yuri's point about ingredients is good—some brands add zinc or vitamin E, which could affect skin. Still, if it's working, great! Just keep an eye on sugar content in those gummies (my mom radar is always on). Maybe track it in a journal to see if the sleep thing kicks in later.

Thanks for the replies! Yuri, I'm using the Nature's Way brand—just checked, and it has rose hips in it (hey Tina!). HealthHacker, no other changes, honestly been stressed with work if anything. But my skin hasn't looked this good since my 20s, lol. Maybe I'll stick with it and see if sleep improves. Appreciate the tips, everyone!
