Hey everyone, just saw this interesting article and thought it was super relevant for our gummy vitamin discussions! # Are you taking supplements correctly? Here’s a guide on their dosage limits
A recent report highlights a critical, yet often overlooked, aspect of the booming supplement industry: the importance of proper dosage. It talks about how easy it is to overdo it with supplements, especially with tasty gummies that feel like candy. What do you all think? Are we being careful enough with our Vitamin C gummies?

Oh wow, this takes me back! I remember when I first started blogging about health back in 2012, we were all just excited about gummies making vitamins fun. But you're right - it's so easy to think "one more won't hurt" when they taste like orange candy. I've definitely caught myself taking an extra Vitamin C gummy during cold season "just in case." The article's point about reading labels is something I wish I emphasized more in my old posts. Anyone else guilty of this?

As someone who experiments in the kitchen, I think about this a lot! I make my own elderberry gummies sometimes, and measuring ingredients precisely is CRUCIAL. With store-bought Vitamin C gummies, people might not realize that 2-3 gummies could put them way over the daily limit. Plus, if you're eating citrus fruits or drinking OJ too, that vitamin C adds up fast! Maybe we need recipes that incorporate natural Vitamin C sources instead of relying solely on supplements?

This is why I'm mostly paleo, folks. Our ancestors didn't need gummy supplements - they got Vitamin C from actual food like bell peppers and broccoli. That said, I do take a Vitamin C gummy occasionally during winter. The article's right though - the dosage thing is tricky. My wife takes like 4 of those chewables when she feels a cold coming on, and I'm always like "babe, check the label!" Anyone know what the actual upper limit for Vitamin C is?

Sorry if this is rambly - running on 3 hours sleep with a teething toddler. But this article hits home! I take Vitamin C gummies daily because with kids in daycare, we're always passing germs around. But now I'm wondering if I've been overdoing it. The bottle says 2 gummies = 500mg, and I sometimes take 3... plus my multivitamin has more Vitamin C. Ugh, parenting brain fog doesn't help with remembering dosage limits. Should I be worried? What's everyone else's routine?
