Anyone else get super vivid dreams from Vitamin D gummies?

Hey all, I've been taking vitamin D gummies for about a week now (2000 IU, the strawberry flavor from the store). I noticed I'm having super vivid dreams every night, like movie-quality stuff. Also my pee is a bit bright yellow, which I know can happen with B vitamins, but this is different? Anyone else experience this? It's not bad, just weird.

Oh wow, vivid dreams! That's actually a sign your body is metabolizing the vitamin D, especially if you were deficient. Some people report that. I'd lean into it—keep a dream journal! Also, the bright yellow pee is likely from the flavoring or other added vitamins, but if it persists, check with your doc. Make sure you're taking it with food that has fat for better absorption. Namaste.

I'm a sugar-free guy, so I avoid gummies usually, but I've heard of the vivid dream thing from other supplements. Could be the vitamin D itself or an interaction with your sleep cycle. Bright pee is usually just excess water-soluble vitamins, but D is fat-soluble, so that's odd. Maybe check the label for B vitamins. Anyway, if it bothers you, maybe try a liquid D drop instead of gummies—no sugar, and might have fewer additives?

As a foodie, I'm more concerned about the taste! But seriously, vivid dreams? That's a cool side effect. I mean, I take D gummies too, but I don't remember my dreams more. Maybe it's because you're taking them before bed? I take mine in the morning. Also, the bright urine—totally normal for me with any gummy, probably the food dye. That's why I prefer a clean brand, but I get it.
