THREAD: Found Vitamin D Gummies on sale at Costco - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw their Kirkland Signature Vitamin D3 Gummies on sale for like half the price of what I usually pay at my local health store. I'm tempted to stock up, but part of me is wondering... does the lower price mean they're lower quality? Or is this just a legit steal? Would love to hear your thoughts before I buy a giant tub!

Ooh, I'd be cautious! Big box stores like Costco often carry products with questionable sourcing. Have you checked the ingredient list? Look for organic, non-GMO certifications and avoid artificial colors or high-fructose corn syrup. Sometimes cheaper means more fillers or synthetic additives. I always prioritize quality over price when it comes to what I put in my body - our health is worth the investment! Maybe check if there's a local co-op with a sale instead?

Honestly, I buy the Costco ones all the time and they've been great for me. As a busy professional, I appreciate the convenience and value. I haven't noticed any difference in how I feel compared to pricier brands. Just check the dosage per gummy matches what you need. Saving money means I can actually stick to taking them regularly instead of skipping because they're expensive. If it's a trusted store like Costco, I'd say go for it!

Fellow gummy enthusiast here! 🍬 The Kirkland ones are actually pretty decent quality for the price. They use cholecalciferol (D3) which is the more bioavailable form, and I've seen third-party lab tests showing they meet their label claims. The sale might be because they're clearing old inventory or have a new batch coming. Pro tip: compare the IU per serving to your usual brand - sometimes cheaper brands have lower potency so you need to take more. But overall, Costco's vitamin section is generally reliable!
