Hey everyone! So I started taking vitamin D gummies about a month ago because I was having trouble sleeping through the night (my doc said low D can mess with sleep cycles). I was using the Nature's Way brand, just one a day. The sleep did get better after a couple weeks, but here's the weird thing: my skin has cleared up SO much! I've always had these little bumps on my arms and some redness on my face, and they're just... gone? Has anyone else experienced this? I didn't even know vitamin D could do that!

OP that's wild! I've been taking D gummies for like 6 months now, mostly for bone health since I lift heavy 5x/week. Never noticed anything with my skin tbh, but my mood is way more stable. Used to get super irritable on rest days, now I'm chill. Maybe the skin thing is from better sleep quality? What's your dosage? I take 5000 IU daily from Sports Research brand.

omg yes!! I got the cheap CVS brand ones during winter bc seasonal depression hits me hard. Started taking them for mood, but my nails are growing like CRAZY now and they're not brittle anymore. Also my hair seems thicker? I'm a broke student so I was skeptical about supplements but these actually do something lol. Ellen what brand are you using? Maybe it has other stuff in it too?

Fascinating! As a fitness pro, I recommend D3 to clients for immune support and muscle recovery. The skin connection makes sense - vitamin D regulates keratinocyte growth (skin cells). Many clients report fewer breakouts and eczema improvements. @EcoEllen526, are you taking D3 specifically? Absorption matters. Also, are you pairing with K2? That combo enhances benefits. Glad you found an unexpected perk!
