Hey everyone! I've been taking Vitamin D gummies for about 2 weeks now (I know, I know, I should get my levels checked but my doc said it's fine). Anyway, I've noticed my dreams are SO VIVID lately. Like, movie-quality, wake up confused vivid. Also, I read that bright yellow urine is normal with B vitamins, but mine is neon. Anyone else experience this? Or am I just weird?

Hey there! As a retired nurse, I can tell you that vivid dreams can be a side effect of some supplements, especially if they contain B6 or other B vitamins, which are common in gummies. The bright urine is usually just excess riboflavin (B2) being flushed out—totally harmless. But if it bothers you, you could try taking them in the morning instead of at night, and drink more water. Not a doctor, but that's my two cents!

Lol, I'm a skeptic of gummy vitamins in general. You're probably getting a bunch of sugar and artificial colors, not to mention the weird dreams might be from your brain reacting to something else. Have you changed anything else lately? I'd say ditch the gummies and get your D from the sun or real food. But yeah, the neon pee is normal if they have B2. Don't stress.

I totally get you! I used to take those and had the same thing. I switched to a brand that uses no artificial colors and only natural fruit extracts, and the neon pee went away. The dreams though? Still vivid but I kinda like them haha. Maybe try a cleaner brand? Also, make sure you're taking them with a meal that has some fat, since D is fat-soluble.
