THREAD: Traveling with ACV gummies - do they melt? TSA rules?Started by OasisOliver

Hey everyone, planning a weekend hiking trip to the Rockies and want to bring my ACV gummies with me. I've got the ones with beet root and B12 - they're awesome for energy on the trail. But I'm worried about them melting in my backpack or car. Also flying out - does TSA care about these? Any tips from fellow travelers?

OP - good question! I've been using these since they first dropped. I travel for work constantly. TSA-wise, you're fine - they're just supplements, not liquids. I keep mine in my carry-on. As for melting: in hot cars, they can get sticky. I use a small insulated lunch bag with an ice pack if I'm road tripping in summer. On planes, the cabin temp is controlled so less risk. Pro tip: keep them in original bottle with desiccant packet to avoid moisture.

Bro I take these to every Crossfit competition! For hiking, I throw the bottle in a ziplock then into my hydration pack's insulated pocket. Never had melt issues even in 90° heat. TSA never blinked - they're too busy worrying about my pre-workout powder lol. Just don't leave them baking on your dashboard. The B12 in these is clutch for energy when you're grinding on the trail!

As someone who flies 2-3x weekly: TSA doesn't care about gummy vitamins. I keep mine in my briefcase. For storage, avoid extreme temps - hotel minibars are actually too cold, can make them hard. Room temp is ideal. If driving, don't leave in glovebox. The ACV with mother in these has been great for gut health during stressful travel weeks. Efficient and portable.
