Started for sleep, stayed for... clearer skin?! Anyone else?
Okay so I bought these Goli Ashwagandha gummies mainly for sleep (I'm a night owl and my Fitbit says I get like 5h of deep sleep a night lol). I've been taking them for about 3 weeks now, and while I do think my sleep is a bit more restful (waking up less), the crazy thing is my skin is SO much clearer! I've had this stubborn chin acne for months and it's just... gone. Did anyone else get a surprise benefit from these? I'm not complaining, just curious!
Interesting! I've been using the sugar-free version (I'm all about that no-sugar life) and I haven't noticed skin changes, but I have noticed my stress levels are way down. I'm a teacher and usually by Friday I'm a wreck, but last week I was chill as a cucumber. Maybe the ashwagandha is doing something systemic? Makes sense that it might affect skin too since stress can mess with it. Keep us updated!
I'm with you on the sleep thing! I take them for the same reason and now I'm like, wait, why is my mood better? I'm a digital nomad so I'm always in new places, and I used to get super anxious about getting lost or meeting new people. Now I'm way more laid back. Also, I've noticed I'm not getting those 3pm crashes anymore. Anyone else feel more energetic? Maybe it's the vitamin D?
Haha, I don't notice skin or mood, but I'm a weekend warrior - I do long hikes and mountain biking. I started taking these to help with recovery (that soreness after a big ride is brutal). Surprisingly, I've noticed my joints don't ache as much the next day. Could be the anti-inflammatory properties of ashwagandha. Plus, the mixed berry flavor is way better than those chalky pills. #winning
