THREAD: Found OLLY Prenatal Gummies on sale - too good to be true?Started by OP

Hey everyone! I was at Costco yesterday and saw the OLLY Essential Prenatal Gummy Multivitamin (Citrus Berry, 84 count) on sale for way less than I usually pay at my local pharmacy. It's got folic acid, vitamin D, omega-3 DHA, all that good stuff for brain development. But now I'm paranoid - does the lower price mean lower quality? Or is this just a legit steal? Would love to hear your thoughts before I stock up!

OP, I've been taking prenatals for years (three kids!) and I'm always skeptical of sales. With supplements, you often get what you pay for. I'd check the expiration date first - sometimes stores discount items that are close to expiring. Also, make sure it's not a different formulation or from a questionable batch. I stick to my trusted pharmacy even if it costs more, because consistency matters for prenatal health.

QuartzQuinn makes a good point about checking dates, but I don't think sale = bad automatically! I got these at Target last month on sale and they've been great - no tummy issues, good energy. The ingredients list matched my previous bottle. Sometimes big stores get bulk discounts and pass savings on. Just tune into your body's response when you start them. If they feel right energetically, it's probably fine. Nature provides abundance, not scarcity mindset :)

lol i'm not even pregnant but i snagged these at my local pharmacy sale last year for post-workout nutrition (hey, brain support for my hikes!). They tasted fine and i didn't notice any diff from full price. Maybe check if costco has a return policy? Then you can try risk-free. Also, maybe compare the bottle to an old one - sometimes packaging changes but inside is same.

As someone who barely has time to shop, I'd say go for it if the expiry is good. I've bought OLLY prenatals on sale at both Target and CVS during busy seasons, and my doc confirmed my levels were optimal at last check. Efficiency hack: set a google alert for price drops. Sales are often overstock or promo cycles, not quality issues. Just verify it's sealed properly.
