THREAD: Mixing OLLY Probiotic Gummies with other stuff - safe or nah?Started by PurePete49

Hey guys, been taking the OLLY Probiotic + Prebiotic gummies for a few weeks now to help with digestion after my intense Crossfit sessions. They're peach flavored and pretty tasty. I usually take them in the morning with my pre-workout coffee. Is that cool? Like, does coffee mess with the probiotics or fiber? Don't wanna waste my gains or upset my gut. Anyone else combine these with other supps?

PurePete49, I'm a mom who's tried these gummies for my family's gut health, and I'm always skeptical about mixing supplements. Coffee is acidic and might reduce the effectiveness of the probiotics—those 500 million CFUs are delicate! I'd recommend taking them on an empty stomach with water, maybe 30 mins before coffee or food. Also, check if you're taking any other gummies with similar ingredients; doubling up on fiber could cause... issues. Always read labels and maybe ask a doctor?

DIY enthusiast here! I've experimented with combining these OLLY gummies with my homemade fermented foods like kimchi. In my experience, adding prebiotics from the gummies can boost gut bacteria from probiotics in fermented stuff—synergy, folks! But with coffee, I'd agree with CrystalCathy810: caffeine might stress the gut. Try spacing them out. Also, if you're into DIY, you could track your digestion in a journal to see what works. No major risks I've seen, but everyone's different!

Thanks for the tips! CrystalCathy810, good call on the acidity—I'll switch to taking them before my coffee. VitalVince860, love the journal idea, might start logging my gut feels. Anyone else mix these with specific foods or other gummies? Heard some peeps pair with vitamin C gummies for immune boost, but not sure if that's overkill.

PurePete49, vitamin C gummies could be fine, but watch the sugar content—these OLLY ones already have some. Too much sugar can counteract gut health benefits. As a mom, I stick to one supplement at a time unless a professional says otherwise. Keep it simple and safe!
